Swift Conqueror 480
Key Information
Description
The Swift Conqueror 480 is a fantastic choice for couples looking for a premium two berth caravan that combines manageable dimensions with an exceptionally spacious and luxurious interior.
As one of Swift’s flagship ranges, the Conqueror was designed to offer a noticeably higher level of comfort and specification, and the 480 manages to pack all of this into a relatively compact single-axle caravan.
At the front is a large and comfortable lounge with long parallel seating, providing plenty of room to stretch out and relax. The seating can be used as two single beds or converted into a very generous double bed at night, making this a particularly flexible layout for couples.
The large panoramic front sunroof was a major design feature of this generation of Conqueror and, combined with the surrounding windows, creates a bright and airy living space with plenty of natural light.
The centrally positioned kitchen is well equipped for touring, with a dual fuel hob, separate oven and grill, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment and plenty of useful storage and preparation space.
One of the real highlights of the Conqueror 480 is the large full-width rear washroom. Complete with a separate shower cubicle, cassette toilet, wash basin, wardrobe and generous dressing space, it gives the caravan a real home-from-home feel and provides facilities normally associated with considerably larger models.
Being a Conqueror, specification is a real strong point. This generation featured ALDE wet central heating for comfortable year-round touring, along with an alarm system, alloy wheels, upgraded entertainment equipment and a host of premium interior touches.
Despite the amount of space and equipment inside, the 480 remains relatively short at just 6.46 metres overall. For couples who don’t need permanent beds, this makes a lot of sense – you get the luxury and spacious rear washroom of a much larger caravan without having to tow or store something unnecessarily big.
Overall, the Swift Conqueror 480 is a superb premium two berth tourer. Comfortable, well equipped and surprisingly spacious for its size, it’s an excellent option for couples wanting something a step above a conventional two berth.
