The 2016 Bailey Unicorn III Barcelona is a luxurious twin-axle touring caravan offering an excellent combination of space, comfort and specification.

Sitting towards the top of Bailey’s range when new, the Barcelona was designed for buyers wanting a substantial touring caravan that feels comfortable enough for longer holidays while still retaining a practical and familiar layout.

At the front is a spacious parallel lounge with plenty of room for relaxing and dining. Large windows and Bailey’s distinctive vertical front skylight allow plenty of natural light into the caravan, while at night the lounge can be converted into an additional double bed, giving the Barcelona genuine four-berth flexibility.

This incorporates a separate shower cubicle, cassette toilet, wash basin and useful storage, creating a proper private washing and dressing area at the rear of the caravan. Comfort is another strong point. The Barcelona is fitted with Alde programmable wet central heating and hot water, giving quiet and evenly distributed warmth throughout the caravan and making it particularly suitable for touring beyond the summer months.

There’s also a factory-fitted 100W solar panel, AL-KO ATC trailer control, AKS stabiliser, Tracker Retrieve security system, external BBQ point, external 230V socket and a host of other premium equipment.

Built using Bailey’s Alu-Tech bodyshell construction and sitting on a twin-axle chassis, the Barcelona provides a substantial amount of interior space while maintaining good stability when towing.

With a shipping length of 7.92 metres and an MTPLM of 1723kg, this is a large caravan, but that’s exactly where its appeal lies. It offers a genuinely spacious lounge, permanent bedroom, large kitchen and proper rear bathroom rather than compromising one area to gain another.
