Bailey Senator Series 6 California
Key Information
Description
The Bailey Senator California is one of those caravans that has earned an excellent reputation over the years, and it’s easy to see why. Combining Bailey’s renowned build quality with a spacious fixed French bed layout and an impressive factory specification, it’s a fantastic choice for couples looking for comfort without moving up to a twin axle. The front lounge is bright, spacious and comfortable, providing plenty of room to relax during the day before converting into an additional double bed for guests. Large windows and the Heki rooflight flood the caravan with natural light, creating a welcoming living space whether you’re enjoying a weekend away or an extended tour. The centrally positioned kitchen is well equipped with everything needed for life on the road, including a dual fuel hob, separate oven and grill, microwave and a large fridge freezer. Generous worktop space and ample storage make preparing meals both easy and practical. The fixed French bed offers the convenience of always having your bed made up, while still leaving plenty of space to move around the caravan. There is excellent storage throughout, including wardrobes, overhead lockers and generous under-bed storage. At the rear of the caravan is one of the California’s standout features – a spacious full-width washroom complete with a separate shower cubicle, cassette toilet, vanity unit and plenty of room to get changed comfortably, giving the caravan a real feeling of space and luxury. As with many Bailey caravans manufactured during this period, the decorative laminate on the cupboard doors and locker fronts has warped in places throughout the caravan. This is a well-known characteristic caused by the manufacturing process and materials used at the time. It is purely cosmetic and has very little impact on the functionality or durability of the furniture. We believe in being completely transparent with our customers, so we’d rather point this out now than have it come as a surprise when you view the caravan. Overall, this is a genuine, honest example of one of Bailey’s most sought-after fixed bed layouts. It offers a fantastic specification, a spacious interior and excellent value for money, making it an ideal caravan for couples looking to begin their touring adventures or upgrade to a premium model.

The warranty is there to help with faults affecting the caravan's main fitted equipment or systems that were not reasonably apparent at handover, subject to inspection and approval.
This can include issues with items such as:
· Heating and hot-water systems
· Fridge, cooker, hob and oven
· Electrical and charging systems
· Water pumps, taps and plumbing fittings
· Toilet and washroom equipment
· Damp, water ingress or sealant deterioration
· Other original fitted appliances or equipment
What is not normally covered:
The warranty is not designed to cover general wear, cosmetic deterioration, accidental damage, misuse, neglect, lack of maintenance, or faults caused by unauthorised repairs or modifications.
Typical exclusions include:
· Tyres, batteries, bulbs, fuses and consumable items
· Upholstery, soft furnishings, carpets and cosmetic marks
· Damage caused by accidents, impact, frost, storm damage, vermin or poor storage
· Faults caused by incorrect use, lack of routine maintenance or failure to follow manufacturer guidance
· Problems arising after third-party repairs, alterations or accessories have been fitted without approval
· Recovery, transport, site fees, accommodation costs or consequential losses
Customer Responsibilities
